Begin your day at 6:45 AM, boarding the fast train to Florence (tickets included). On arrival, meet your tour leader at 8:45 AM at the "P" parking sign in Piazza della Calza near Porta Romana for a 9:00 AM departure. Start with Monteriggioni, a charming hilltop village famous as a filming location for Gladiator. Enjoy the scenic one-hour drive as your guide shares fascinating stories about Tuscany’s history. Next, visit Siena, renowned for Piazza del Campo and the Palio horse race. You’ll have two hours to explore the city, visit the stunning Cathedral, or wander its medieval streets.
Then, head to a Chianti winery for a delicious Tuscan lunch with a wine-tasting experience. Savor up to eight wines, including Chianti and Super Tuscans, paired with balsamic vinegar, truffle oil, and extra virgin olive oil. Your final stop is San Gimignano, the “Medieval Manhattan.” Spend 1.5 hours exploring its iconic towers and cobbled streets before returning to Florence by 6:00 PM, Rome 9:00pm.
