The tour will start at Trajan's Column where our guide will be waiting to introduce themselves to you. From here, a short walk along the Imperial Forum, constructed in Rome’s Golden Age, will take us to the entrance of the more famous Roman Forum. As we enter inside the archaeological site your private guide will show you all of the most iconic and important monuments that have made it one of the most visited sites in the world, but also the hidden gems that can only be seen in smaller groups. From the forum we move up onto the Palatine Hill to explore the Imperial Palace, home of the emperors. Here, wandering around the palace’s many rooms, we get an idea of the luxury the emperors lived in.
When we get to the Colosseum you will enter the stadium where Gladiators fought and died in the sand for the amusement of the mob.
